I’ve always loved the idea of being and that “Go To” person everyone wants to have in their life. You know the one I mean. The person you think of when someone approaches you looking for a very specific service, a sale, a hookup, a job, or even a hitman, you think “You know who knows all about that stuff? GiGi. She can help you out with that!” Now, I’m not getting into the hitman business anytime soon. But I think you get the point. It seems, in these last few months, that I’m becoming just that (a go to person, not a hitman.)
I’m working with the HAND program to prevent homelessness. With the still increasing unemployment rates the imminent homelessness in Dade county is also on the rise. HAND has a new program to help households that are at risk of homelessness due to unemployment or disabilities get back on their feet by paying rent/utilities for past due and future months. There are some criteria that need to be met, but they’re not very unattainable which makes the program is incredibly helpful to most people who want to regain their financial independence. I am very much looking forward to September 1st, the projected date when we’ll have everything set to start helping out.
I’ve also become recently affiliated with Meltology which is – I cannot begin to express how- exciting. They have a new line of Spa products coming out that are beyond belief amazing. I can say so myself as I have tried the hand and feet treatments and, no kidding, the effects last for days. However, that’s all I can say for now. I am sworn to secrecy!! That’s not all. I’m not yet all in it, but I’m contemplating working with 5Linx. This company has the new phone technology- video phones. I tried one, dude, this is crazy. Imagine being able to see your kids while they’re away for college, or your family in another country state each time you talk instead of only when you can afford a plane fare. What’s more, imagine being able to hear and SEE your long distance relations for only $29 a month!? Yeah. I know. Sounds too good to be true. It’s not. It works off the internet (which is what all phones will be using in just a year of two.) Oh, and cell phones too. How cool is that? I can’t wait. I’ll let you know about that too.
So. Yeah. I’m feeling like a Go To Girl and I love it!
